Regarding the previous reviewers concerns, sure, that could have happened. They definitely have at least a couple of gentlemen working there who not only know who Grover Cleveland was, but probably voted for him. I could definitely see them shouting, "Here's your gout medicine, Mrs. McGillicuddy!," but only because they're old-school, not malicious.
I just switched pharmacies from Professional Pharmacy in Norwell to another because this pharmacy has no respect for their customers personal information. I went in to pick up a prescription that had been called in the day before, and the pharmacist asked me in front of a room full of people what the name of the drug was. When I asked him if he could please just look up what was called in the day before (I was obviously uncomfortable naming the drug in front of a room full of people) he did, and then said the name of the drug out loud anyway, and he said it very loudly from the other end of the room. The whole room heard, including one of the other pharmacists who agreed that it was an aggregious violation of HIPPA privacy laws. He had no interest in protecting my personal information - and I believe that he did it quite deliberately. I spoke with the owner of Professional Pharmacy who, despite this HIPPA violation, refused to fire the pharmacist "because he was a long time friend." I cannot emphasize how much I would advise anyone from going to this pharmacy if you value your privacy and want a pharmacist who will respect your personal information. Professional Pharmacy in Norwell is the the most un-Professional Pharmacy that I have ever been to, and I will never go back.
I have been using this pharmacy for years and have always been happy with their service. I'm routinely without my refill number, or I show up last minute, or I say I'm swinging by Friday and don't make it until the following Tuesday (yes, I am sometimes a forgetfull pain in the a$$,) and they have always been kind and accomodating to me. No 'sighing,' no 'lecturing,' just, "Here you go, Capt'n."
